Friendship & Love

Some people may think friendship and love is completely different. Some may view love as the feeling between two people, especially between men and women, and friendship as the relationship between friends. I used to think like that too when I was just a small girl. But when I am growing up, I give friendship and love a definition in a different way.

In my idea, when two or more people care, help, understand, and support each other no matter what the situation is, it is called “Friendship.” What makes me surprised is that, love is the same as friendship. The relationship between parents and children, friends and friends, and between men and women all involve friendship and love mixed together in those kinds of relationship. Because each person have feeling love and care for each other, it makes their relationship become stronger.

For me, both friendship and love are equally important because no one can live alone on this world without contacting with other people and without any help from others even me. I always try to keep my relationship and make it become stronger, but it sometimes makes me feel tired because I seem to care and love other people around me too much before I think about myself. However, I never give up.

Cambodia is Lack of Human Resource Because of Its Weak Educational System

Education system in Cambodia is considered out of standard and unqualified enough to compete with the other nearby countries, and it leads to lack of human resource.

I think that Cambodia high school, even primary and secondary school, seems to be responding for training corruption to Cambodian new generation, for schoolboys and schoolgirls are required to buy candy or cakes sold by teachers, or to pay party for teachers, or to buy gifts for teachers at the end of each year. Most of Cambodian people are now complaining about the weak of its educational system. Because of corruption has spread in Cambodia’s school. High school examination is cogitated as a very important event that is held once a year, but the bad smell of irregularities, cheating, and corruption always appeared during the day of exam while students spend some money to the controller in order to get the allowance for cheating, copying and having answered checked by other students.

Besides taking money daily from students at school, buying passing certificates are available for students even they did not attend any examination which can cause the ability to increase the human development and education curriculum unsuccessful. However, it is not one hundred percents the teachers’ faults, but because new teachers often face a many months delay before they receive their salaries, David Coleman, education chief of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) for Cambodia, told IRIN. Hence, teachers need to earn more money by the way described above (Integrated).

These issues caused many problems to Khmer society, and Cambodia will not be a developed country because of the lack of human resources. People follow the bribery form of the previous generation, then the economy growth will jump down and the country may face with unbalanced society (low standard of living, disagreement, and have no good aspiration). It shows clearly that people are not treated well, for they are not provided a high standard of education system. It is difficult for Cambodian people to accept this situation. There should have no more bribery at school. In order to solve this problem, law in force should be strong obliged the people to follow. For those people who are working in the education system should be punished whenever they are noted that they broke the rules.

How to be a good leader

    Everyone always thought to become a good leader is easy. In fact to become a good leader it is very difficult. Some people have their talent from nature to be a leader but some people not. Leadership can be learn and practice in a real life.

     To be a good leader we have to follow some point :

• Care your team: it mean that as a leader have to worry and think about their team the most. Leader have to know about members problems even their health, personal problem or else..
• Stay close to your team: every time we meet each other or while we are working together we have to say "hi" to other member and ask them about problem or what is their concern about team and give them back a good solution.
• Meet your team: make sure that your team have plan to meet each other every day, every weekend, or every month depend on type of your team job. As a leader have to prepare it for the team.
• Train your team: you cannot let your team down or leave any of member alone when they doesn't have enough ability to complete a task for team. Leader have to train them as much as we can do in order to make sure that team are going toward together.
• Grow your team: through many experiences and training, you should develop each team members to have equal ability to make one task done with successfully.
• Celebrate with your team: this might be a personal event, such as a member's birthday or anniversary, or a professional occasion, such as completing a project or winning of contract.
• Really listen: to be a successful leader you have to be open mind and try to listen to your member as much as you can because you cannot know everything without asking your member.
• Plan your success: you won't be there forever and you may not be in control of the timing and circumstance of your departure. So start now to mentor and train at least one colleague who could take over from you.

     All of these point is not enough for the good leader but it is some way to become a good leader if you can practice and follow it. Remember to be a good person is not easy but if you want to be a bad person is easier than take a piece of banana to your mouth.

A Very Secret Plan

            From 1975 until 1979, Cambodia was under control of Pol Pot regime. The three years, eight months, and twenty days controlled by the Pol Pot clique, who called themselves "organization", had caused millions of innocent people dead and brought the nation the hell. At that period, no one knew that they became the victims of the regime due to a very secret plan. Cambodian people were evicted to live far away from their home and forced to overwork everyday. Additionally, they worked with eating less and had no food to eat, and some people starved and some died because of the starvation. The brutal government declared that all the people's properties had to be managed by them. No one could take even their own property. If one takes, the one abuses the law and betray the organization. The Pol Pot force took him or her to educate. Moreover, a small mistake made innocent people die. For example, they just got their crop to eat. If the forces know what they did, the forces get them to educate and say these people stole the public property and these need educating. But what they had said was not true and the truth was that the Pol Pot forces brought them to kill. The word "to educate" means "to kill". Additionally, they tried as much as possible to invite all the national scholars to come back to the country to develop the nation, yet it was not like what they had said. When the scholars came, the clique killed them all. Not only the scholars from abroad but also Khmer students were slaughtered by the regime. All in all, until now, Cambodian people are still wondering why this regime killed its own people and killed for what. These questions are still kept in mind by all Khmer people. although this country are processing the Khmer Rouge Court and also arrested the leaders of this genocide to be being interrogated and spread the information everyday on TV, its people still do not know why and what for the truth.
